With electronic logs putting tighter constraints on our clock, it’s grown more critical to have a safe parking location established when trip planning. Furthermore, customers more now than ever seem willing to allow drivers to park on premises as it can mean the difference on which day a shipment is delivered. If you are having any issues safely finding a place to shut down, don’t hesitate to ask dispatch for advice, or a customer for permission to stay on their lot. Keeping our drivers safe and legal is the first step in remaining among America’s greatest fleets!

Summer has been busy and freight is moving fast, but that doesn’t mean that we need to speed up to stay ahead! Speeding violations are a quick way to risk earning a ticket, or worse, risking the safety of yourself and those on the roads around you. Please don’t forget the importance of operating within the posted speed regulations and always being courteous of other drivers on the road. You never know when the individual in the passenger vehicle next to you could be a fellow employee, customer or partner. Let’s make sure to always do the little things right in order to stay free of violations or citations!
