Thankful for our Community!
November is one of our favorite months at Long Haul as it brings the spirit of thanks in one of our favorite holiday’s, Thanksgiving. We cannot say enough about how thankful we are for the hard work and dedication that’s been put forth by each of our drivers and office professionals in making 2024 another strong year for our organization. We are truly honored to work with, and for, a group of people that are always eager to do the best they can for our clients and how that has paid off in another successful year for the entire Long Haul team thus far! Let’s keep the momentum going and knock the last 2 months of this year out of the park!
Home For the Holidays?
With the holiday season in full swing, it’s very important that we remain mindful of practicing pro-active communication to ensure important holiday plans with family and friends aren’t missed! Part of our companies’ mission is to ensure all our teammates are able to spend the holidays in a satisfying, fulfilling manner, and a major factor that contributes to this happening is working with fleet and dispatch in a timely manner to be routed toward your preferred destination! We would like to wish all our teammates a very Happy Holiday Season and New Year!
Don’t Forget Your Chains!
As temperatures drop outside it reminds us that winter is well on the way, and that it’s important for us to ensure our rigs are equipped with the proper equipment to stay safe, and legal while traveling in the western states. Colorado chain law is already in effect, and there are more states on the horizon. We value each of our teammates immensely and always want to ensure that we’ve taken the correct steps in staying safe and running strong all year long!
Treat Your Tanks!
As we head into November with colder temperatures soon, we would like to suggest that all our drivers consider the usage of fuel additives to prevent gelling up. Fuel additives, fuel filters, and a close eye on the weather forecast can help play major roles in how successful of a winter we have. This is especially important to consider when you fuel in a southern state and may be northern bound, as many fuel stops in the south do not mix any additives in with their diesel fuel. Thank you to all our drivers for your great work this year, let’s keep rolling strong for the next two months and finish 2024 on the best note possible!
