When you’re an Owner-Operator with Long Haul Trucking you can earn up to 90% gross pay. We’ll work with you on making sure you’re not sitting idle when you sign on to Long Haul Trucking. Owner-Operators are paid weekly, no forced dispatch, direct deposit w/ fuel program, and fleet insurance at a low rate.

Long Haul Trucking also offers Club 94 that card-locked control gives our Owner-Operators 24/7 access to a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops, dining area with HD TV’s, two new private showers, a theater room with a 70-Inch plasma HD TV, and an exercise room with LifeFitness machines Club 94 offers all the comforts of home!

SAFETY and DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS
Safety is our top concern and we work closely with our legal staff and insurance company to ensure that we have the safest drivers on the road.

  • Preferred age of 23 or older
  • Minimum of two years or 200K miles verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience in last three years
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years
  • No “serious” violations (i.e., reckless or careless driving, DUI, driving commercial vehicle with out CDL in drivers possession, etc.) in the past five years
  • No more than three preventable accidents in the past three years
  • No DOT reportable with receiving a citation that related to a fatality
  • No more than three jobs in the past three years

Driver Referral Rewards
Building a better driver team is a never-ending task. To help, Long Haul Trucking Inc. rewards drivers when they recommend another driver to our team. If a Long Haul Trucking driver recommends someone and that person is hired and stays for at least 90 days, we pay a driver referral fee.

SETTLEMENTS

Average Annual Revenue is Up to $300,000 in gross revenue – Settlements are issued on Fridays (15 days after receipt of clean paperwork)

MISCELLANEOUS
Inspections: All Owner Operators are required to have tractor/trailer sign on inspection by our Premier 94 shop.

Fuel Tax: Long Haul Trucking will compute your fuel tax from mileage and fuel purchases you turn in on your trip reports, (Long Haul Trucking will pay this tax and then deduct from your settlement).

Authority: Long Haul Trucking has 48 state authority and Canadian Provinces.

Passenger Policy: Requires you to sign a release and will cost $15/month, There is a 60 day waiting period (with no accidents) before passengers are allowed to ride with you.

Dispatch: First In/First Out

Tolls and Maintenance Reports: Owner Operators are required to turn in tolls and monthly maintenance reports.

Annual Inspections: If you have a MN based registration (plate),  Premier 94 can do the annual inspection (MN DOT certified). Cost is $65 for Tractor and $55 for Trailer.

Hard Hats,  Safety Glasses, Steel Toed Shoes and Safety Vests: Required.

2290 Form: Must be filled out and filed by Owner Operator by deadline (August 21). We must have a copy of returned stamped “PAID” or “RECEIVED” form.

IRP Base Plate: Based on annual fee. Approximately $1850/year, (An Owner Operator may run on his/her own IRP).

Permits: NY State registration card/decal, NM Permit, IFTA decals and MN single registration are all requirements, this is approximately $95 annually.

Costs: Insurance, Base Plate and permits must be paid when leasing on.

  • Drivers License – same state as you reside
  • Social Security card or Stamped Berth Certificate
  • Drug Test Result
  • Copy of Registration Cards for Tractor/Trailer
  • Copy of Title or MSO for Tractor (front and back)
  • Copy of stamped “PAID” 2290 (heavy use tax)
  • Copy of Bobtail Insurance for Tractor and Physical Damage Insurance for Tractor and trailer with “LONG HAUL” listed as Cert. Holder

License Reserve $100 per week (starts in July and runs for 19 weeks)
Insurance:

  • PD/Bobtail Insurance: $223.50/Month (Based on 100,000 coverage .0225 x 100,000/12 + 36 = 223.50/Month)
  • OCAC  $150 per month
  • Cargo Insurance Billed at .055 cents pm (i.e. 10,000 mile would be $550.00)
